Sound and Lighting - Preliminary 2

 Sound:

We were planning to use voiceovers for the stalker and jess on the other side of the phone call. It would help create suspense as we cannot see their faces, or how the stalker has jess trapped, leaving the audiences minds to create that storyline. 

However we are now planning to film the camera shots facing 'Schalk' while standing further away holding the boom pole in front of our 'Stalker' - This way we will get the timing right between our main characters reactions and what's being said by the other characters. 

If this does not work then we will add in the voiceovers in postproduction. 



Lighting:


As we are filming outside, we are planning to use natural lighting, however the issue with this is as the evening goes on, the lighting changes. I will have to work hand in hand with rejoice (on camera) to keep the lighting consistent throughout the film.

Camera Angles

Wide shots provide context, shows physical and emotional state between conflicting characters. Full shots show the subject in their entirety. Medium full shots single out a subject, whilst still showing environment. Where a cowboy shot is a heroic take on the mid full shot. Medium shots frame the shoulders and head of your subject.
